Mortem Vetus: Wizards
Apprentice Thank you for purchasing Wizards Apprentice. We hope you enjoy using this product, and this User Guide is intended to just help you get the most out of your purchase. Mostly, this guide will be covering the basic operation of the items included in the pack. For the purposes of this guide, we'll be using PoserPro 2014, but there is nothing we'll be doing that can't be done in Poser 8 and above. And initially, pretty much everything is in default, except Render settings. Once you've installed the product, your new TerraLuna2 items will be in: :Runtime:Geometries:MortemVetus:wizapp: :Runtime:Libraries:Character:MortemVetus:WizardsApprentice: :Runtime:Libraries:Materials:MortemVetus:WizardsApprentice: :Runtime:Libraries:Pose:MortemVetus:WizardsApprentice: :Runtime:Libraries:Hand:MortemVetus:WizardsApprentice: Since this is an outfit for Michael4, the first thing we need to do is get an M4 loaded. Once we have Michael loaded, we can go to the WizardsApprentice folder and start dressing him. Select a clothing item from the library, and load it by either double-clicking, or highlight the item and click the double tick symbol. When the item is loaded, make sure it is selected then click Figure and Conform To... Select Michael4 from the new dialogue box th\at opens, and click ok. |

Alternatively, if you drag
and drop the library item directly on to Michael4, this
will conform it automatically. This is very useful in a
sparcely populated scene, but should be used with caution
in a more densely populated scene. Whichever method you
prefer, repeat for the rest of the set. |

Apprentice outfit |
Now we have our Michael4
fully dressed, it might be time to think about a character
for him. While we started out thinking of the outfit as
Wizards Apprentice, we realised that actually it's usable
for all stages of Wizard. Fancy ceremonial robes are all
very well in the Halls of Magic, but not very practical
for questing and adventuring. So even a Master Wizard will
don simpler atire when needed. Choosing a character will guide which staff we pick. There are three: the Apprentice Stick, the Journeyman Staff, and the Dragon Staff of a fully fledged Wizard. We're going to use Maxwell, as he's young without being baby-faced, and we're going to equip him with the Journeyman Staff. |

Michael isn't very interesting in default pose, so let's get him into something that looks more the part. If you look under Hands, there's a Wizards Apprentice folder, with a selection of useful hands, including grasp for each of the staffs. To use these, make sure Michael is selected, then double click on the required hand. A new dialogue box will open asking which hand to apply to. These poses are interchangable between left and right. |

Each of
the pieces in this set come with a number of material
options. In the Wizards Apprentice folder under
Materials, there are folders for each of the clothing
items. Select a clothing item and apply a material from
the appropriate folder. |

Repeat this
process for all the clothing items to get the look you
require. From here, all that's left to do is to create an
appropriate scene around him. |

We hope you enjoy using this product and
