Mortem Vetus:
UltimaMortis Thank you for purchasing UltimaMortis. We hope you enjoy using this product, and this User Guide is intended to just help you get the most out of your purchase. Mostly, this guide will be covering the basic operation of the items included in the pack. This pack is intended for use with Poser8 and newer. For the purposes of this guide, we'll be using PoserPro 2014, but there is nothing we'll be doing that can't be done in Poser 8 and above. And initially, pretty much everything is in default, except Render settings. Once you've installed the product, your new TerraLuna2 items will be in: :Runtime:Geometries:MortemVetus:RPR: :Runtime:Libraries:Character:MortemVetus:UltimaMortis: :Runtime:Libraries:Pose:MortemVetus:UltimaMortis: :Runtime:textures:MorV:Grim21: So to begin with, we want to load Michael4, as shown in image1 below. You can either drag and drop the thumbnail into the document window, double click the thumbnail, or highlight it and click the double tick symbol, 'Create New Figure'. |

Now we've got M4 loaded,
let's start getting some of the outfit on him. The first
thing we're going to want on will be the head, which loads
as shown in image2 below, Now this looks problematic, so
let's jump over to our UltimaMortis pose folder and with
Michael4 selected, apply the 'M4 Hide Head' pose. This
turns off all Michael's body part from the neck up. |

Image2: Loading Ultima Mortis
head |
In image3 below, we can
see M4 with his head turned off, and this would be an
opportune moment to apply a matching skin to him. From our
UltimaMortis pose folder, we've applied 'M4_Skin_1' and
now we're looking much better. Please note, there are two
skin options for Michael4. One is for use when M4's head
is turned off and the Ultima Mortis head is on. The other
option is for M4 without the Ultima Mortis head, and
applies to all of Michael. |

head and applying Materials |
From here, we want to add more pieces, and
in image4 bvelow, we've added the Robe, Hood, Belt and
HourglassBelt. *NOTE* We encountered a strange behaviour with the HourglassBelt. When conforming, it bends inwards. We have no idea why this is so, but we really wanted to include the piece, so we've included a correction pose to place it as it should be. We'll look into this further and if we can work out a better fix, we'll update it. Our apologies for any inconvenience. So when we have everything loaded and conformed, our M4 should look like image4 below. |

outfit. |
*NOTE* If Michael is
in default loading position, then the default Main
Camera doesn't show the left and rightr handed
Hourglasses. A slight change of angle, or a quick
switch to the hand cams will verfiy they've loaded. So that's the bulk of the outfit, which operates like any other outfit of this type, with additional bodyparts on the lower body of the robe to control that movement. We've included a Hide Lower Body visibility pose for Michael4, meaning the lower robe can be pulled into some more extreme situations, such as using the 'swirl' morphs at high values. There are times when a little over-dialing can be used to good effect. The other two cr2 figures are the Hourglassses for him to be holding. These are designed for M4 to be holding them so they dangle, so we need to get Michael4's hand turned through about ninetty degrees back. Once his hand, and the hourglass are orientated correctly, we can get some movement in the chain. To do this, we've used EZ Pose Underground2 by Ajax to set up Easy Pose chains, resulting in these nice curves, with minimal fuss. The other way to pose the chains would be to do each link individually, which we certainly don't have the paience for. All the Easy Pose dials on the links have suffixes, of either 'Bef' or Aft', which needless to say stand for Before and After. There are also a set of dials on the Body of the figures that operates the entire sequance of links from end to end. |

We've
also included a scythe prop, which comes with left and
right handed versions. As usual, we've included a selection of material options, presented as pz2 MAT posesd. In this cae the selection is quite small, and dark, as we don't imagine the Grim Reaper doing bold and brights colours. *chuckle* There are a small number of options for the hood, the robe, the replacement head, and the hourglasses. As always, make sure the correct item is selected, then double click the desired material. And that's about it, this is a comparatively simple pack, it is what it is. :) From here all that's ledt to do is setup, render and of course, have fun. |
We hope you enjoy using this product and
we look forward to seeing what images you make with it. Happy Halloween Rendering 2021. Andrew and Tracey :) |
